Zakary is a Registered Social Worker and Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Social Work degree. Zakary provides comprehensive and personalized assistance to individuals, couples, and families. Zakary’s approach combines evidence-based and holistic perspectives to address various issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and complex relationships. Zakary is a Metis individual and a strong advocate for the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Zakary practices from an anti-oppressive and non-pathologizing standpoint, considering the overall well-being of individual’s mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual selves. Zakary specializes in analyzing and evaluating the dynamics of relationships. Zakary has 5+ years of experience working with individuals navigating complex and dynamic relationships. This includes working with couples facing intense conflicts, infidelity, separation, and divorce. Creating a welcoming environment is important to Zakary; he aims to foster genuineness, transparency, warmth, comfort, collectivism, and empathy in his practice. Zakary offers a judgment-free space for individuals to understand their feelings, responses, and reactions.
